“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. And there I will give her her vineyards and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.” Hosea 2:14-15 ESV
The Lord desires to lavish his love on you and wants you to experience the overflowing fullness of it. Even when you have walked through hard times and places, the Lord will make a way to draw you out and close to himself.
Every woman encounters wilderness seasons.
It’s inevitable. But there is beauty found in those places.
Not because it’s easy or everything lines up the way we want it to. But because God is there.
He reminds you again of his promises, of his thoughts over you.
He sets your identity, he reveals His nature, He heals your heart.
In those moments, the distractions are less and we can’t help but fix our eyes on Jesus.
He may do some pruning and cutting and stripping of the things you’ve held on to, but even if you come out limping, you come out leaning on Him.
Don’t despise the wilderness season, but open yourself up to all that he wants to do in you while you’re there.
We can all go deeper. We can all move closer.
What is God pulling out of you as He pulls you in?
