Hello friend! Thank you for stopping by my online home. Over here—and anywhere else you find me—I hope to always keep it real and authentic.

My goal is to be a daughter first.

A sometimes feisty, strong-willed, loud-laughing, sugar craving, solitude seeking daughter of God through Jesus Christ. Out of the overflow of that, I consider writing to be my fingerprint of worship to God and where I get to connect the most with you. I enjoy crafting fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and prose that ultimately points to Jesus. And the most perfect, restful day for me is when I’m sitting in my favorite chair with coffee, dried mango, and a new book to read.

Listen…I knows how it feels to struggle with identity and performance mentality to prove my worth. God has done so much in my life in this area and I am passionate about encouraging others, especially women, in Christ-Centered Identity, Intimacy, and Influence. I believe knowing who you are in Christ truly changes everything and is foundational to a flourishing life. 

Along with working on fiction manuscripts, like my upcoming debut with Revell, I’ve authored several books and creative resources including Becoming His, Daddy’s Girl & Daddy’s Boy Devotional, and the most recent book, Milk & Honey in the Land of Fire & Ice. This book, along with Becoming His, feature Biblical fiction and devotional content used in Bible Studies and small groups. I’m also thankful for the opportunities I’ve had to write for various blogs, share in both in-person & virtual gatherings, and speak at conferences from Alabama to Austria. 

In the midst of all of this, I am Nigerian-American and the wife of an amazing man from Iceland and mother to our four equally cute and feisty mocha drops. They keep me laughing,  challenged and in prayer, all day every day! Currently, our days as a family center around doing our best to say yes to God in beautiful Iceland. After serving on a church pastoral staff for twelve years, we live in a small village on the southern coast of the land of Fire & Ice. From there, we serve and minister in various ways around the country.
