“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14b

Biblical womanhood is as varied as our fingerprints.

Biblical women who God used were servants, queens, concubines, ex-prostitutes and former demoniacs. They were women who were married five times or never at all. They were little girls and pregnant teens.

They were stay at home moms and moms who went to work. They were prophets and businesswomen, women with issues and women with none. They were orphans and widows, over-workers and those who worshiped extravagantly.

We need to stop pointing the finger of comparison and remember that, along with men, we are called the Body of Christ. A Body that has many different parts and functions.

We need to remember as we look in the mirror that our own bodies are not just the fingers and eyes and arms and legs and breasts and toes.

But it’s also our organs, our bones, our blood, our cells that make us who we are. The hidden parts do so much for the body that we can’t even comprehend. We need to speak life and empowerment over each other and place a demand on the anointing on our sisters to be who they were created to be.

How can you speak life and encouragement over another woman this week?
