“How do I live out the call on my life when any spark of delight, creativity, or rest is drowned out by the commotion of ever increasing responsibilities?

How can I even find the capacity to dream when I’m trying to just breathe?

Yes. There it is. Just breathe.

I’m here to tell you that you have permission to breathe.

This is what I hope you hold in your hands in this Milk & Honey Women Devotional.

Simple reminders to position yourself in Christ, no matter what season you are in.

I hope this is a breath of fresh air as you read through and savor the Christ-centered voices of women who walk in shoes that are similar to yours. I am thankful for the words that pour out from leaders with public and visible platforms. The messages they carry have facilitated life-change and breakthrough for so many. So thankful!

However, this does not take away the value of the voice of the woman next door, the sister in a hidden season, or the one who is publicly quiet but privately overflows with anointed wisdom. There is a seat at the table for women such as these and this is the core desire of Milk & Honey Women. As we cultivate our sweet spots of Christ-Centered Identity, Intimacy, and Influence in all areas, we want the call of God on our lives to encourage every woman.

From this devotional journal, we hope that you are stirred by the words of the women featured. Many times the simple encouragement of a friend is what you need to keep going. The strength from other sisters pushes you to pursue hope in what’s to come, giving you the courage to pull up a chair to the table too.

As you go through each devotion, dig deeper into the Word of God, write down reflections, gratitude and prayer—we pray that sweet spots of God’s presence are cultivated in your own life, in every season.
